How to Create Your Dream Biz (Without Feeling Like Sh*t Getting There)

Let’s be honest: building your dream business can start to feel like a slow descent into burnout. You’re chasing the goals, posting the content, hitting the milestones—but somewhere between the vision board and the inbox, it starts to feel... heavy.
That’s where this conversation begins.
At Dream Agency, we believe in a new paradigm of success—one where you get to have the dream clients, the money, the aligned brand, and still feel wonderful living your everyday life. And if that sounds impossible, let me tell you: it’s not. I know because I’ve lived both versions.
The Hard Way vs. The Aligned Way
For years, I was the high-achiever. The perfectionist. The “plan every grocery store trip” girl. I believed success required sacrifice, pushing, grinding, proving. And while I achieved a lot... it never felt good. Even the wins felt hollow.
Then came the crash—the anxiety, the fear, the “I-don’t-know-how-to-keep-this-up” moments.
What changed everything was not a new strategy or productivity hack. It was this:
“The key to changing my life was in the small, seemingly mundane moments. The thoughts I consistently think without even noticing. And the stories I choose to tell.”
I learned that success doesn’t require suffering. And I made it my mission to help others build their dream life and business without feeling like sh*t on the way there.
How I Rewired My Life (and Business) with These 7 Practices
Let’s throw out the badge of burnout. The belief that the hustle is noble and the grind is required. Your well-being isn’t a luxury, it's the foundation.
Here’s what helped me go from anxious, overstretched, and striving… to grounded, expansive, and genuinely happy.
1. Decide You’re Worth Feeling Good
You deserve to feel good while building what you’re building. Not after you hit the goal. Now. And yes, this might feel radical if you’ve been running on overdrive for years. But the biggest transformation starts with giving yourself permission.
2. Intentional Sleep
Right before bed, I say a simple intention:
“May I have a deep, restful sleep. May I wake up replenished, renewed, and ready for the day.”
It sounds small. But it sets the energetic tone. I started prepping for success before the morning even began.
3. A Morning Meditation Practice
Every day, I wake up and meditate—sometimes guided, sometimes in silence with the hum of a fan. It’s not about perfection. It’s about starting the day tuned into me before the world rushes in.
4. Ask for Guidance
In meditation, I often ask:
“What do I need to receive today?”
Sometimes the answer is meatballs (seriously). Sometimes it’s a bold truth. Either way, it grounds me in alignment.
5. Hourly Check-Ins
This one changed the game. I set a timer to go off every hour. It reminds me to pause, ask my body “what does feeling wonderful feel like?”, and recalibrate. 60 seconds is enough to shift your entire day.
6. Neutral is Enough
When you can’t feel wonderful, feel neutral. That alone will disrupt the spiral. You don’t need to jump from panic to bliss. Just stop the freefall.
7. Praise Over Judgment
You cannot get it wrong. You can’t fail at this. Every time you try to feel better—whether it’s meditating for 2 minutes or choosing a better thought—celebrate yourself.
30 Days of Feeling Wonderful
Your success is not determined by how hard you grind; it’s determined by your energy.
I created a 30 day challenge (inspired by Abraham Hicks) that has changed my life and the lives of many others. It's a commitment to doing your best to feel wonderful for 30 days and staying open to all the possibilities and magic that comes with it.
When I committed to 30 days of feeling wonderful, my life transformed:
I manifested a dream daycare spot for my son—just in time.
I attracted aligned, paying clients.
I co-founded Dream Agency.
And none of it happened from spreadsheets or sacrifice. It happened because I was in the frequency of receiving.
So what’s at stake if you don’t do this?
Well, sure, you might hit your goals. You might build the empire. But what’s the point if you’re miserable getting there?
If you’re a mom, studies show your happiness is the #1 predictor of whether your child will thrive. Not how many activities you sign them up for. Your joy is the job.
If you’re a visionary, your energy is your brand. And burnout doesn’t convert.
If you’re a human, you deserve to feel good. Not just when you cross the finish line, but every step of the way.
Take Your Next Step
Try this today: Take 60 seconds. Put your hand on your heart. Ask yourself: “What would feeling wonderful feel like right now?” And listen. That’s where the magic begins.
You don’t have to suffer to succeed.
You get to feel wonderful. Every damn day.
